Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Green Bay Packers final injury report
The Jaguars and Packers both had hefty injury reports this week.
Out of the 12 players listed on the injury report this week, Jacksonville has ruled out five players for Sunday’s game at Green Bay and declared two others questionable. The Jaguars will be without WR Laviska Shenault Jr., RB Devine Ozigbo, LB Dakota Allen, DT Doug Costin, and QB Gardner Minshew II, while S Josh Jones and C Brandon Linder are questionable to play.
Which absence’s will impact the Jaguars in week 10?
Gardner Minshew will be absent for the second game this season with a thumb injury. He’s been struggling since early this season and was on the verge of losing his starting job when tests revealed a fracture and strained ligament in his thumb. Rookie Jake Luton took over last week and impressed so much, Minshew might not have a job to come back to.
Wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. will miss week 10 with a hamstring injury that he suffered early on versus the Houston Texans last week. Shenault has had a great rookie year so far even if his stats don’t say much. He has only 323 yards and one touchdown but averages 10.8 yards per reception and has a 76.9% catch percentage.
The Jaguars have one of their best wide receiver corps in years and Shenault’s presence will be missed but they still have D.J. Chark Jr., Keelan Cole, Chris Conley, and rookie Collin Johnson active.
Jacksonville has quite a tough task ahead of them. They have allowed at least 20 points in every game this season and the Packers have scored no less than 22 points in eight games. According to FanDuel, the Jaguars are currently 14-point underdogs.
