The Jacksonville Jaguars’ offense will have its work cut off.

The Green Bay Packers offense gets all the headlines and with good reason. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is one of the best players in the league, wide receiver Davante Adams is playing at an All-Pro level, and running back Aaron Jones is having a superb year. However, the Jacksonville Jaguars shouldn’t underestimate their defense.

The Packers defensive unit currently ranks 11th in total yards and 17th points allowed with 204. Their run defense ranks 12th in yards and their pass defense has given up 13 touchdowns, good for 11th in the league. Those numbers may not stand out, but that doesn’t mean the Jaguars offense will have it easy on Sunday.

Rookie quarterback Jake Luton will be making his second start in the NFL. The Oregon State standout stretched the field in Week 9 and showed he has no trouble distributing the ball. However, the Houston Texans didn’t have any tape of him heading into the matchup and the Packers will.

If the Packers defense can shut down rookie James Robinson, they could force the Jaguars offense to throw the ball and become one-dimensional. That would put Luton in a difficult position and would make the team susceptible to the Packers pass-rush.

If the Jaguars offense wants to avoid falling behind and wants to put points in the scoreboard, they will have to account for these four Packers defenders.
