As the Jacksonville Jaguars continue to prepare for the 2020 season virtually, these four players could have a career year that leads to a Pro Bowl berth.

Just like every Jacksonville Jaguars fan, I’m waiting to see how the team’s offseason game plan translates to players running on the field and executing what they have been taught.

This has been a unique season already – with the fears of COVID-19, a virtual NFL Draft, and virtual communication with the players. So far, as head coach Doug Marrone explained in an interview with local media through Zoom, things have gone as well as expected.

"“We really didn’t have any glitches,” Marrone said via Jaguars.com."

The Jaguars have many new faces on the roster. For an organization looking to change the culture inside the locker room and on this field, veterans will need to step forward.

Some could have the best seasons of their career, which should lead to a Pro Bowl berth in Orlando.

"“We’re trying to work on ways to speed up the process of all those reps,” Marrone added when talking about his players adapting to the changes in how the coaching staff has prepared them for 2020. “Maybe five percent of our football team will be able to catch up quickly. The veteran guys who have been doing it for a while and who are comfortable with the system have a good opportunity. But these younger players … they’ve missed reps.”"

If everything comes together, it’s quite conceivable this team could have a losing record, but have more than one player representing them in the Pro Bowl.

These are four players who will the kind of impact the team needs this season and will earn a trip to the Pro Bowl.
