Round 1, Pick 9 – Henry Ruggs III, WR, Alabama

BOOM! Right off the bat, the Jacksonville Jaguars are able to add a speedy receiver with a clean bill of health and proven production. Taking Henry Ruggs III immediately ensures that DJ Chark is able to run 1 on 1 more often than not.

Round 1, Pick 20 – Josh Jones, OT, Houston

Not my favorite prospect but at this pick, the Jaguars wouldn’t really go running back (all the major backs were still on the board) or back to back wide receivers.

So instead they go with the high character tackle Josh Jones out of Houston and slide Cam Robinson inside to potentially fix two positions with one pick (The Joe Schobert effect).

Round 2, Pick 42 – D’Andre Swift, RB, Georgia

The Jaguars pick up the reliable running back, D’Andre Swift out of Georgia at a great value and are able to go into the 2020 season with a new starter with Leonard Fournette possibly in his final year.
