The 2020 NFL Draft has a lot of very good linebacker prospects. The Jacksonville Jaguars may want to improve at linebacker after a poor defensive season.

There are a lot of questions that surround the defense for the Jacksonville Jaguars this season. While there are some hope and optimism for the future, there are still plenty of holes in what is now one of the youngest defensive units in the NFL.

With the signing of veteran linebacker Joe Schobert and key veteran role players on the defensive line like Al Woods and Rodney Gunter, it seems as though Jacksonville has decided to fix some of these holes with proven veterans. As we move closer to the draft the anticipation grows every day. There are a lot of different ways the Jaguars can go with their 12 picks, but drafting a linebacker seems like a must at some point early on.

The Jaguars have Schobert and Myles Jack, but another star linebacker could help get this defense back towards the success that was seen during the 2017 campaign when the linebackers were Paul Posluszny, Jack, and Telvin Smith. With the retirement of Posluszny and Smith’s future still up in the air, Jacksonville may want to be proactive and draft another linebacker so they can secure a strong future for that group.

Here are the top linebackers in the Draft  Class of 2020.
