Grading the Jacksonville Jaguars last five first round draft picks
By David Levin
2016 – Jalen Ramsey, DB, FSU
I remember being in my living room when the Dallas Cowboys drafted Ezekiel Elliott and thinking the pick has to be Jalen Ramsey. When his name was called, I was screaming like the Jaguars had won the lottery.
It’s hard to separate the player from the human being at times. This is one of those cases. Ramsey was everything the Jaguars thought he would be his first three seasons in Jacksonville on the playing field.
His swagger and voice off the field were what helped lead to his downfall as a member of the Black and Teal.
While the Jaguars got a nice ransom for him from the Rams, they still miss his brash playing ability and highlight reel demeanor. GRADE – A- (Based on play alone)
