The Jacksonville Jaguars should look at these four free agents

Tyler Eifert, TE, Cincinnati

I’m going to continue to beat the drum on this one until it happens. The connection between Tyler Eifert and Jaguars offensive coordinator Jay Gruden has been well-documented.

Now, if the Jaguars could sign the veteran tight end to a “prove it” deal, the team could reap the rewards of a player who has had injury issues the past few seasons.

There is no shortage of need at the tight end position, which has been decimated by injuries the past two seasons. Eifert could be a third-down option for Gruden’s scheme and a nice target over the middle for quarterback Gardner Minshew.

If he is healthy and can give the Jaguars 30-40 catches a season, it also will help second-year player Josh Oliver develop into a more dependable receiver.
