Josh Allen continues to impress – There is just something about Josh Allen that makes Jaguars fans smile.

After recording his eighth sack last week to tie Yannick Ngakoue for the team’s rookie record, the first-round pick out of Kentucky hopes to continue his pursuit of the record books against Tennessee’s Ryan Tannehill.

Allen’s speed and quickness off the edge have been trouble for opposing offensive linemen this year. And to think he could be used more in the Jaguars defensive scheme the last six games of the season. He and Ngakoue have a chance to make some noise this week as well.

It’s something Marrone mentioned as well.

"Per John Oehser of Jaguars.com, “Marrone also reiterated what he said Monday – that the team will try to get rookie Josh Allen on the field more. Allen, who leads the Jaguars with eight sacks while having played mostly in passing/nickel situations through 10 games, played just over half of the defensive snaps Sunday.”"

More Josh Allen means more opportunities for the Jaguars defense to elevate its play.
