Cornerback – AJ Bouye

A.J. Bouye is a very good corner, but he needs to establish himself as one of the premier corners in the league once again. Bouye has shown the tendency to get burnt over the top from time to time and he doesn’t have the lockdown ability of teammate Jalen Ramsey (but then again no corner does).

It doesn’t seem fair to put Bouye in the position that he is in but there is a possibility that Ramsey may be seeing his last day as a Jaguar. These two players have different playing styles and those players are just completely different. However, there will be Jaguars fans who are going to want Bouye to perform like he is his teammate. Bouye may be good, at times maybe just as good as Ramsey but to ask him to play like Jalen isn’t fair to Bouye.

He has’t been really been performing at the Pro Bowl level that he has proven he is capable of consistently, but this week he is facing a below average receiving corps and a young QB who may still be prone to mistakes. If Bouye is challenged at all this week I could see him landing his first interception of the year.
