Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Pittsburgh Steelers: Divisional Round preview
By Billy Long
It’s the Jacksonville Jaguars vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers for a trip to the AFC Championship game.
The Jacksonville Jaguars travel to the Steel City to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in the divisional round of the playoffs. Jacksonville punched their ticket to the second round with a 10-3 win over the Buffalo Bills, in the first home playoff game since 2000.
Sunday will be the second meeting this season between the Jaguars and Steelers. Jacksonville also traveled to Pittsburgh back in week five in October. The Jaguars came out of the game with one of the biggest wins of the season, in the 30-9 thrashing of the Steelers.

Expecting a duplicate performance this weekend is asking a great deal from Jacksonville. Make no mistake, the defense showed out, and has no plans of backing down in round two. But it’s the playoffs, and Pittsburgh will be doing everything they can to not falter this go around.
Having said that though, if there is one thing the Jaguars know, it’s how to beat the Steelers at Heinz Field twice in a single season. Jacksonville is the only team in league history to accomplish that feat of beating Pittsburgh on their home turf twice in one season, having done it in the 2007 season.
