The Indianapolis Colts will score a touchdown: FACT

The Jacksonville defense is first in a number of categories, including points allowed. A big reason why are their performances against the Texans, Ravens, Bengals, and Browns (all only scored 7 points) and the Colts (shutout).

Unlike the Baltimore Ravens defense (who is 2nd in points allowed thanks to 3 shutouts against some tomato cans), the Jacksonville defense has consistently shut opposing teams down. The only outliers are a weird game against the Titans in week 2 and last week’s nightmare game against the Arizona Cardinals.

That being said, shutting teams out in the NFL is tough. Whether it’s a garbage time touchdown at the end of a blowout game or a blown coverage (see last week against Blaine freaking Gabbert), teams usually find a way to score at least once.

The Colts were close to scoring a few times in their last matchup and I expect them to get close again. Jacoby Brissett is playing better each week and he’s starting to look like a guy that the Jaguars should’ve have pursued in the preseason.

I think the Colts offense has a tough day, but they get in the endzone once.
