Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Arizona Cardinals: Friday Fact or Fiction for Week 12

Blake Bortles will throw multiple touchdowns: FACT
Speaking of failed first round quarterbacks drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars…
Let’s put something out there: I see some folks lumping Blake Bortles into the same category as Blaine Gabbert and that’s just silly. Blake has not been good in Jacksonville for the most part but to compare him to Gabbert – arguably the worst first round quarterback in the modern era by any statistical measure – is an insult to what he’s done.
Bortles has shown he can’t carry an offense, but he’s also showed the ability to play within himself if he has talent around him.
Blake has been down more often than up this year, but he’s due for a good game after two clunkers.
I think he puts together a solid 3 touchdown performance this week.
Next: Free agent signings have propelled the Jags and playoff picture.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have a chance to go 8-3 this Sunday.
Read that sentence again – the Jaguars can secure their first non-losing season in a decade if they beat Blaine freaking Gabbert this weekend.
I’ve finally bought into the Jaguars this season as a legitimate contender. They showed two weeks ago against the Chargers that they can overcome adversity and bad play from their quarterback to beat a lesser opponent.
Even if Blake has a bad game, the Jaguars defense will win this game.
PREDICTION: Jaguars 27 – Cardinals 6
