Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Arizona Cardinals: Friday Fact or Fiction for Week 12

Since his unceremonious benching, Jacksonville Jaguars star running back Leonard Fournette hasn’t looked quite right. He’s probably still feeling the lingering effects of an ankle injury and it’s clear he doesn’t quite have the same burst he showed at the beginning of the season.

Despite that, Fournette still put together a rugged performance last week in Cleveland en route to 100+ yard day on the ground.

Heading to Arizona, I expect the Jaguars to mix in a little more passing into the game plan since the weather will be amenable to it in the nice covered confines of the University of Phoenix Stadium. That means the Cardinals won’t be able to stack the box as much and Fournette should see some more daylight.

I expect Fournette to get past the first line of defense more often this week and he’ll break a big 30 or so yard run against a Cardinals defense that still has the name recognition but just hasn’t been the same in 2017.
