Final Take:

You would be hard pressed to find anyone who saw this impressive of a start coming for the Jaguars. Before the start of the season, I predicted how the season would fare for Jacksonville and had the team at 4-4 at this point. Even with that I felt more optimistic than most, so I would be lying if I told you I knew this team would be considered a top 10-12 team in the league.

With a decade of futility, fans have rightfully been hesitant to buy into the notion that the Jaguars could finally be good.

But it’s time. It has happened.

This Jacksonville Jaguars team has developed the traits it takes to win football games, and have found the right blueprint to success- an efficient offense supporting a dominating defense.

Jacksonville will be in the playoff hunt throughout the remainder of the season, and a division title is right in the cross-hairs. The second-half of the 2017 season is going to be an exhilarating journey years in the making.
