Despite some ultimately meaningless drama surrounding left tackle Branden Albert, the Jacksonville Jaguars will have their entire roster at mini-camp.

The dead zone is quickly approaching in the NFL offseason, as the Jacksonville Jaguars have wrapped up their offseason training activites (OTAs) and are now starting the shorter run of mini-camp practices.

The mini-camp schedule is as follows:

  • Tuesday, June 13
  • Wednesday, June 14
  • Thursday, June 15

The three day mini-camp is the only portion of the offseason work so far that hasn’t been voluntary, which means that everyone will show up. This includes newly acquired left tackle Branden Albert despite his demands for a new contract.

In terms of storylines for mini-camp, it’s really the same stories we’ve been tracking all offseason. Unfortunately, the practices are closed to the public so we won’t be able to form our own opinions, but we can still speculate.

Perhaps the most intriguing area to track will be the offensive line, where it appears to be completely unsettled at almost every position. In fact, Jermey Parnell may be the only player who knows what position he’ll be playing, and that’s not even a complete certainty.

Left tackle is up in the air, as Cam Robinson will now relinquish snaps to the veteran Albert. Will Cam continue playing with the first team at guard, or will he stick with the second team at left tackle?

This also conflicts with the guard position, where reports are coming out that Brandon Linder will likely move to. Is he going to take over the hole at left guard, or push out A.J. Cann at right guard? Does that mean Cam Robinson won’t start at all along the offensive line?

That also leads to the question of who will take over at center.

These questions are just along the offensive line, but there are other unknowns throughout the roster.

We’ll likely have to wait until training camp to have any real idea of what will happen at those spots.
