Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Baltimore Ravens: Friday Fact or Fiction
By Daniel Lago
Allen Robinson will catch a touchdown: FICTION
The Jacksonville Jaguars best player is Allen Robinson and he’s had effectively no impact over the first two weeks. He’s been matched up against some pretty good cornerbacks, but he needs to show up if he wants to be considered one of the best receivers in the league. He’s had 20 targets so far in 2016 and only has 9 receptions for 126 yards to show for it. That yard per catch average (14.0) is well below what he produced in his breakout campaign in 2015 (17.5).
I think the Jaguars will keep forcing the ball to Robinson with mixed success in this contest. The Ravens have good coaching and are likely going to figure out a way to keep Robinson in check in this contest.

I predicted the Jaguars to win last week and I felt like an idiot after the first quarter. It took me a few weeks in 2015 for me to stop giving the Jaguars the benefit of the doubt in these predictions, so it’s somewhat telling that it’s week 3 and I’ve already decided I can’t pick them to win games anymore.
Until the Jaguars show they can beat a quality team, we don’t know if they actually can. The Ravens aren’t world beaters at 2-0, but they are at least a team that knows how to win.
The Jaguars get behind early yet again and never recover as the Ravens cruise to an easy win.
PREDICTION: Jaguars 13 – Ravens 26
