2. Jordy Nelson showed how valuable he is to the Packers’ offense when he was lost for the year in 2015 – is he going to be ready and a full go in week 1?

"All signs point to Nelson being a 100% full-go. Rust may be somewhat of a factor, but I can’t see it taking long for Rodgers and Nelson to get their mojo back. I heard something very interesting on Mike and Mike this morning that pertains to Nelson. Nick Chubb played with 100% of his ability on Saturday coming back from a gruesome leg injury. If players are scared to give it 100%, it greatly enhances the chances for an additional injury. I don’t think Nelson is the type of player to give less than 100%."

My take:

While Josh seems confident, I don’t think Jordy is going to pick up where he left off in 2014 right away. Even though he’s had quite a while to rehab his knee injury, Nelson is on the wrong side of 30 and facing off against a very young and athletic secondary. He’s going to see plenty of balls thrown his way but I don’t think he has a monster game.
