Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson showed how utterly dominant he could be in 2016 when making plays against the New York Jets secondary.

It was only the preseason, but what a debut for Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson!

While there was speculation circling around as to whether or not Robinson will be able to keep up his impressive 1400 yard, 14 touchdown pace in 2016, I think most of that can be laid to rest now.

In just three catches (on three targets), Robinson managed to rack up 80 yards. Even those impressive numbers don’t tell the whole story, though. Just look at these catches:

Immediately after Robinson dominated in his catches, Jets Twitter took off on how he was abusing a lower-tier cornerback in Dee Milliner (that guy the Jets drafted in the first round three years ago). Milliner will undoubtedly get some playing time during the 2016 season, so beating him is still perfectly impressive in my book.

Besides, did you see those catches!?

It’s almost time for the 2016 NFL season and the Jags will have to wait 10 days until their next preseason game, which gives plenty of us fans time to salivate over just how good Allen Robinson looked and how much more impressive he can be in 2016. In fact, it’s getting to the point where the hype from some people is predicting 1700 yards for the gifted receiver.

Regardless if something like that holds up, Robinson will be a dominant player. His abilities, in turn, open up opportunities for other offensive weapons to get into the game and make plays as well.
