2) Blake Bortles, quarterback, Jacksonville Jaguars

4428 yards and 35 touchdowns.

Like Allen Robinson, those aren’t the only numbers you need to know but they are critical numbers for your fantasy football team.

Blake Bortles is a high risk and high reward quarterback. Only one QB threw more TDs than him in 2015 (Tom Brady) but nobody threw more interceptions. Only six quarterbacks threw more yards than Bortles, but again those 18 interceptions are painful to swallow.

Nobody is going to confuse Bortles for Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers is a safe bet and will post huge numbers as well. But if a fantasy football owner is willing to ride the highs and the lows or just desperately need a QB who can post ridiculous numbers, Bortles could be the answer.

Playing in the same form as Brett Favre, Bortles is the kind of player that simply wins games or makes the unfortunate mistake that loses it for his team. Either way, when the game’s on the line, he’ll be the one in control.

Unlike many quarterbacks in the NFL who are simply asked to hand it off or to play it safe, Bortles takes risks. It’s in his nature and one of the primary reasons why he is thought to be an up and coming QB in the NFL. Those risks pay off more often than not and can pay off in fantasy football as well.

There are plenty of good quarterbacks in fantasy football but few great ones. Bortles is good and has the potential to be great. Take a gamble on him. Before last season he was 29th among QBs according to ESPN now he could be a respectable mid round pick. He’s already 12th on Matthew Berry’s rankings.
