Jalen Ramsey will be one of the top picks in the 2016 NFL Draft and meeting with teams gives him an opportunity to sell himself before the selections are due at the end of April.

There are plenty of opportunities for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2016 NFL Draft. With deficiencies across the defense, the Jags have the luxury of being able to take whoever falls to them at fifth overall.

If that player is Jalen Ramsey, the Jags will be more than happy to pounce on the stud cornerback/safety.

During Ramsey’s visit to the Jaguars, he sat down to talk about what he brings to the Jags. Ramsey confidently said he brings versatility and the ability to make an impact immediately, backing up what he has established thus far in the pre-draft process with his impressive combine performance, pro day, and collegiate track record.

The most impressive thing about Ramsey’s short video clip on the Jags team site is that he wants to work hard and elevate his teammates as well.

Ramsey is a gifted athlete and will undoubtedly make an impact wherever he ends up, but he is already setting a tone that he is not going to be a selfish ball player. He is ready to come to the NFL and work like a professional to be one of the best at his position and help the team. If that means setting up plays for his teammates, it sounds like he’s ready to do so.

So far, the build up to the draft has been a pretty easy process for Ramsey. He has done everything teams would like to see out of a top secondary prospect and he is ready to deliver on the potential he flashed throughout his collegiate career. He said he is enjoying the process and that should be expected for someone who is doing everything right.
