PREDICTION: DeAndre Hopkins will have 150+ yards receiving: FACT

Result: FICTION (89 yards)

Hopkins didn’t have a monster day, but he still saw plenty of work (12 targets). In reality, he wasn’t needed considering just how easily the Texans were running the ball down Jacksonville’s throat. Without the services of Telvin Smith, the Jacksonville run defense couldn’t hold up, particularly along the edge.

The Texans combined for 160 yards rushing with Alfred Blue contributing 102 of those. The Jaguars have been horrid defending the pass this year, but this is only the second time this year they’ve been emphatically dominated in the running game (see Tampa Bay).
