4. Which rookies have stood out for the Texans this season?
"Receiver Jaelen Strong sure showed up in his first action of the season with two touchdown catches, but cornerback Kevin Johnson would be my choice for the best rookie on the Texans. He plays fundamentally sound football and is always right there on coverage. He has broken up a couple passes and delivered a few shots too. This kid will be special."
My take:
Kevin Johnson was one of my favorite players from Hard Knocks, and I’d be glad about him doing so well if he didn’t play for a division rival. Johnson is going to have his hands full if he has to cover either of the Allens, and the offense should be even more wide open with Julius Thomas integrated into more plays.
