4) Blake Bortles, quarterback, Jacksonville Jaguars
Is it a bit rash to place Blake Bortles as the fourth quarterback in the AFC South division after just his first week in 2015? Maybe.
Then again, the 55% completion percentage on 40 attempts for just 183 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions is downright miserable. With the game on the line, Blake Bortles let the Jacksonville Jaguars down. His 54.5 quarterback rating is a great reflection of that.
The question isn’t so much if Bortles deserves to be so low, but whether he deserves to be even lower!
This is supposed to be the year to step forward for Bortles, but in Week 1 we saw a quarterback who may have been more of a liability than anything else.
This wasn’t what the Jacksonville Jaguars wanted from their quarterback and it is clear something isn’t quite right.
