Jacksonville Jaguars vs Carolina Panthers: 3 players in the spotlight

The Jacksonville Jaguars finally take the field to play football that counts this Sunday afternoon as they host the Carolina Panthers in their regular season opener.
The Jaguars are a vastly different team when compared to the squad that ended the 2014 season with a loss to the Houston Texans, as general manager David Caldwell has added several new pieces via free agency and the draft. Many of those new additions will be playing huge roles, with new starters at cornerback, safety, defensive tackle, linebacker, right tackle, running back, and center.
With so many new guys in the starting lineup, it should be interesting to track how some guys do in their new roles and subsequently get excited about their play. Here we’re highlighting 3 of the more intriguing players under the spotlight as we head towards the first football Sunday:
