The 2015 Jacksonville Jaguars draft has plenty of holes still left to fill, and with the third pick in the 2015 NFL Draft the Jags have a chance to select an impact player. However as we have seen in the past two years, Jaguars GM Dave Caldwell does a great job of keeping secret what players he is interested in. With that being said there a couple names who have been linked to the Jaguars so far.

Here is what Black and Teal writer Luke Sims had to say about Fowler Jr.

"“He’s well worth a strong look from the Jaguars as he could come in and immediately lead the team in pressures, hurries, and sacks. The big question is whether his physical tools are worth taking a shot on at number three overall.”"

Dante Fowler has been a very popular pick for the Jaguars at pick 3, as several mock drafts have Fowler going to the Jags. Fowler has been rising up mock draft boards after his impressive performance at the NFL combine. He is coming off a very impressive Junior season with the Florida Gators in which he had 17 tackles for a loss, 8.5 sacks, and 17 quarterback hurries.

Fowler brings a lot of strengths to the table as he has shown the ability to rush the quarterback from the defensive end or linebacker position. He was extremely explosive in his years at Florida, as he caused havoc from multiple defensive positions.

However, despite how big the upside is for Fowler Jr.,  he is still considered by some to be a “raw” prospect because he was flipped all over the field in his college career. He still has much to learn about the rush linebacker and defensive end position. Fowler also needs to improve his lower body strength and his ability to stop downhill running attacks.

All in all I personally think Fowler Jr. is the best option for the Jaguars at N0. 3, he will provide a constant pass rush from the edge as well as the ability to stop running backs from getting to the outside. Fowler Jr. could very well be the 2nd best defensive player in the draft, behind Leonard Williams, with everything that he brings to the table.
