Justin Forsett
The biggest surprise of 2014 at the running back position (in my opinion), Forsett did literally nothing with the Jaguars in 2013 but came out swinging in 2014. His 1266 yards were easily the best in his career and eight touchdowns doubled his career total.
But don’t bet on Forsett being a one-and-done sort of back. The talent has always been there, but he finally excelled when given the opportunity (14 starts in 2014 compared to seven previously in his career).
The big question with Forsett is whether he can keep it up at age 29. I believe he can, especially with his low mileage at this stage in his career (only 2014 saw him attempt more than 200 carries). The Ravens may be close to reaching a deal with their surprise 2014 success, it would be wise for other teams to reach out too.
