Allen Hurns is a the streakiest receiver for the Jaguars. He broke out in the first game of the season, racking up an impressive 110 yards with two touchdowns off four receptions. Unfortunately that game also proved to be a microcosm for the season, with Hurns only catching four of 10 targets. Hurns is ninth in the league with six drops. Coupled with four interceptions when the ball is thrown his way, Hurns is proving to be a less reliable target in the passing game. That said, Hurns is the most explosive receiver the Jaguars have and if he can start hauling in more than 55.6% of passes thrown his way he will prove to be an incredibly dangerous player. Hurns is tied for 13th in the league with five receiving touchdowns. His average reception goes for 15.8 yards, good for 20th in the league. For an undrafted rookie, Hurns is doing exceptionally well. He’s tied with Sammy Watkins in touchdowns and has just two less than Kelvin Benjamin. He’s also ahead of both in percentage of targeted passes caught (55.3% and 52.4%, respectively) and has more yards per receptions as well.
