Jacksonville Jaguars vs Philadelphia Eagles Fantasy Players To Start
By Luke Sims
The Jacksonville Jaguars and Philadelphia Eagles opener won’t be the kind of high-flying affair you may expect from say the Indianapolis/Denver game, but there are definitely some players you will want to start from both squads. Whether it’s the high octane offense of the Eagles (which promises to produce some productive players for your team) or…well the high octane offense of the Eagles (I kid, I kid), you’re in good shape with these guys on your team on Sunday.

Cecil Shorts II, Wide Receiver, Jacksonville Jaguars
Shorts led the Jags last season with 66 receptions for 777 yards in just 13 games. The Eagles were the worst passing defense in the league last season, so you can expect Shorts to get an early jump on becoming the first Jags player to reach 1,000 yards since Jimmy Smith. He’ll get plenty of targets with unproven rookies Allen Hurns, Marqise Lee, and completely untested rookie Allen Robinson making up the bulk of the receiving corps. Shorts is a proven target, so expect Chad Henne to heave the pigskin his way a lot.
