I’m not trying to rub salt on the wound since he was already released, but it’s worth seeing just why the Jaguars had to let him go. Brewster’s biggest concern since coming into the league has been his strength and it showed up big time in the running game. Brewster got pushed around consistently and just could not hold his own against stronger defenders. He was the 4th worst center according to PFF, and he managed to get all the way to the bottom on only 77 snaps. The Jaguars don’t have a lot of options at center, but none of them can be much worse than Brewster was.
