Jacques McClendon, Center/Guard
The Jaguars have a serious issue at center, and it appears they are already looking away from Mike Brewster as the starter.
McClendon has a chance to secure the starting center spot as long as he isn’t an abject disaster on Friday night. The Jaguars likely won’t find a better option off the street, and the team clearly wants Brandon Linder to start at right guard. McClendon hasn’t been great at guard so far in the preseason, so he’s not exactly a lock for the spot either. He needs to perform well on Friday.
