Mike Brewster, Center
As good as Sen’Derrick Marks was, center Mike Brewster was almost as bad Friday night. Expected to be the starter in week 1, Brewster came out and had 2 bad snaps in only 18 plays. In addition to his snap troubles, Brewster got pushed around plenty in the run game by a good Bucs’ defensive line. Brewster rotated in and out of center with Jacques McClendon and Brandon Linder in practice this week, which means he needs to perform a lot better if he wants to hold on to the starting job. Thursday night will be another good test for him.
