Jacksonville Jaguars 2014 Training Camp Scrimmage: Twitter Recap
By Daniel Lago

The Jacksonville Jaguars held their annual intrasquad scrimmage on Saturday night and, as one would expect, the focus was mainly on the quarterbacks. Here are some of the snippets via Twitter of the night:
One of the biggest stars of the night were the new scoreboards getting their first run at some actual football.
There were several players who got the night off, most notably starting running back Toby Gerhart.
Jaguars WR Doss, RB Gerhart, LB Thomas, G Linder, WR Robinson, WR Shorts, TE Harbor, CB Colvin, CB Ball & LB Watson not dressed

The excitement came quickly, as rookie running back Storm Johnson returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown, although it probably would not have been a TD in live action.
What a way to start! @StormJohnson8 runs back the kick.

Chad Henne and Blake Bortles alternated drives, and both players had their ups and downs.

Bortles’ best throw of the night came when he was backed up at his own 2 yard line, and he managed to float a back shoulder throw to Mike Brown.

Nice pass from QB Blake Bortles to Mike Brown for a 26 gain out from 2-yard line. And then 15 yards to Kerry Taylor....

Jeremy Harris called for pass interference on Kerry Taylor on deep throw. Bortles has team already at opponents 25.

Bortles got his first touchdown pass in red zone drills.

Unfortunately the end of the scrimmage was plagued with drops from several receivers.
Todman drops pass, putting Henne offense in 3rd-10. Completes 7-yd pass to TE Barden, then Taylor drops 4th down pass. Not good. #Jaguars

Another drop on first snap for Bortles' 2-minute drill. Geez. #Jaguars

Overall both the QBs did fairly well, but Bortles looked slightly better than Henne.
Final QB stats from Jaguars scrimmage: Henne 14 of 22 for 75 yards. Bortles 9 of 13 for 79 yards, TD

Bortles looks good so far in Jax scrimmage. Play him

And the night ended with fireworks because the Jaguars are awesome.
