Outside of injury updates, there wasn’t a lot of action to report on from practice. There were a few snippets thanks to Twitter however. Due to a slew of injuries at the position, undrafted rookie Allen Hurns had the chance to show his stuff.
Hurns catches a touchdown, drops a pass, then fights for a ball in endzone...caught it but feet out. Interesting three plays in a row.

Head coach Gus Bradley clearly felt the effect of all the injuries, and decided today was a good day to slow things down and take the pressure off the players.
Gus Bradley says today was about slowing things down to get closer to precision.

Gus: want players to trust us and know there's a time to slow the tempo down like today. #ActionSportsJax #JagsCamp

Jaguars end "practice" 40 minutes early. When did Jack Del Rio return?

With a week to go until the first preseason game, some of the focus should be on getting players healthy so they can see the field and be fairly evaluated. Second round pick Allen Robinson is expected to be a big contributor early on, but he needs to get some reps in the preseason if that’s going to happen. The same goes for several other young players expected to play big roles.
