Jacksonville Jaguars 2014 Training Camp: Day 3 Twitter Recap
By Daniel Lago

After a landmark moment on Saturday night when they unveiled the new video boards amidst a soccer friendly and concert, the Jacksonville Jaguars took the field this morning for their 3rd day of training camp. Here’s a roundup of notes on Twitter:
Finally get to hear some pads popping. Jags will work in shoulder pads and shorts today #Jaguars #JagsCamp

Finally wearing some pads, the players clearly started being more physical. More physicality naturally leads to some scuffles…

Next little scuffle Red Bryant and Zane Beadles. 1 on 1's will do that in the heat. #ActionSportsJax

We've got out third tussle of the day, Coleman vs. Patrick Lewis. Most entertaining practice I've ever seen here. #Jaguars

It’s nice to see the players getting a little feisty in practice, and it means they’re as anxious as we are to see some real action.

Cecil Shorts is being held out of practice with a hamstring injury, but it’s good to see him at least putting a little work in and being around the young group of receivers.
The main takeaway so far from the defensive line has been the sheer size of Red Bryant. He should be a nice addition to the defensive front.
Abry Jones has flashed some on the defensive line as well, and he should be able to crack the rotation if he makes the roster.
Telvin Smith just popped Denard Robinson in 9-on-7 #jagscamp

Fist 11-on-11 work of the day. Winston Guy pumped after he and Gratz break up crossing route for Allen Robinson #JagsCamp #Jaguars

Winston Guy just said to the crowd after the play over the middle. "He would sleep" meaning they would have laid a big hit on A. Robinson

The team really showed up for practice, especially the defense which seemed to make play after play according to the contingent on Twitter. Someone was even able to snag a video of Blake Bortles throwing an interception.

It wasn’t all defense however, and there were some nice things to report on offense.
Denard Robinson with a really nice diving catch. Hands much better this year. #JagsCamp

Quick takes so far today: QB Blake Bortles continues to look better and RB Denard Robinson looks very good early. #jaguars

Most importantly however, Josh Scobee appears ready to go for week 1 of the regular season.
Josh Scobee just hit from 50, 56 and 64 yards. He's ready for the Eagles. #Jaguars
