Fourth Round: Dakota Dozier, OG, Furman

Dakota Dozier is a small school gem that I have been infatuated with since the East-West Shrine Game. He has seen his stock steadily rise over the past few months. He played tackle at Furman, but projects more as a guard at the next level.  He’s a bit on the raw side, but I like his position versatility and he’d be able to come in and push for a back up position. The offensive line desperately needs depth, and considering the inconsistent play of Will Rackley, Dozier could possibly push for a starting job.

Robert Herron, WR, Wyoming:

I saw this player available with our second fourth round pick, and I just couldn’t help myself. The guy clocked a 4.29 40 at his pro day! The offense in 2013 was anemic and it’s obvious that more play makers are needed. I know that Ace Sanders has a bright future with Jacksonville, and I’m also aware of what Cecil Shorts has done for us the past few years. However, do you honestly feel comfortable just rolling with Shorts, Sanders, and Mike Brown? Yes, we already drafted a WR in this mock in round 2, but in order for this offense to be productive and successful, it needs more speed.

Herron was absolutely electric during his career at Wyoming, and has done nothing but help himself with every event from the Senior Bowl practices, to the combine, to his pro day. Getting him in the 4th would be a dream.
