Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Miami Dolphins – 5 Questions with PhinPhanatic
By Daniel Lago
With the Jaguars taking on the Miami Dolphins today for their first preseason game, we got a hold of Brian Miller over at our sister site PhinPhanatic.com to ask him a few questions about the Dolphins and their matchup against the Jaguars.
1. What are the strengths of the Dolphins entering 2013?
There is no question that our defensive front seven is the strongest and deepest on the 2013 team. The Dolphins potentially have a top five or ten defensive front.
2. What are the weaknesses?
Much like the defensive line is our strongest, the offensive line is a mess and when you clean it off it still has a lot of questions surrounding the unit. The Dolphins need to figure out who can play where.
3. Which rookie has you most excited?
It’s hard not to say Dion Jordan because of his athletic ability but CB Will Davis, a 4th round pick has been playing very well in camp and he has been an exciting addition to the team.

very well in camp and he has been an exciting addition to the team.
4. Does Ryan Tannehill have enough weapons around him to make the leap this year?
He has the weapons there is no question. Dustin Keller at TE, Brian Hartline as the number 2 WR, and of course Mike Wallace. The questions is can he stay on his feet. The offensive line is so porous right now that he is going to struggle staying upright.
5. Are the Dolphins going to have the most wins of the Florida teams?
I think they have a tough opening schedule and that will have a lot to do with their season outcome. Still, I do think that potentially they could have the best “Florida” record this year. Which may not say much for any of the teams come January.
