Last time B&T put out approval polls to gauge how well Jaguars fans thought the Jaguars’ key minds were doing, things weren’t looking to bright. That was back when Mike Mularkey, Gene Smith, Bob Bratkowski, and Mel Tucker still had jobs. Now, with all three out of Jacksonville, the landscape has changed a bit. By all reports, rumors, and general internet speculation, the guys in charge of the Jaguars are doing a great job. The coordinators are a little quiet, but general manager Dave Caldwell and head coach Gus Bradley are outspoken enough to cover that up.
So, how do you, the fan, view the job these guys are doing?
- Mike Mularkey still had 80% approval from fans in December before getting canned
- Gene Smith was sitting at 75% and he lost his job
- Bob Bratkowski sat at just 50% approval and was gone with Mularkey
- Mel Tucker, who some really liked, had just 63% approval
Personally, I think the guys now in charge are doing a much better job than the last few. Then again, we’ve only seen a rookie minicamp and heard all the coach speak we can handle at this point in the offseason. Vote and see how the Jaguar faithful feel!
