The Jacksonville Jaguars will be all about competition under head coach Gus Bradley, and that will be applied from the oldest veteran to the newest member of the team.  Each day you will have to win your job.  Veteran middle linebacker Paul Posluszny is a hard working, tackling machine who is ready to show that the middle linebacker position is his position to keep week in and week out.

There has been speculation about Poz staying with the team since general manager Dave Caldwell came to Jacksonville but, fresh off a franchise record setting year in tackles, Poz has displayed that he is an exceptional player.  A classic middle linebacker, Poz is the tackling machine that the Jaguars need as they try and spice things up with outside linebackers, LEO players, and new defensive linemen.  If you disagree, you’ll have to beat Poz out of the lineup.

Per Jaguars.com, Bradley called Poz a “tough, reliable, smart” player.  These are the exact attributes that Bradley is looking for from his players.  Competitive is practically Poz’s second nature.  “I’m going to have to earn it, compete and play extremely well on the field, but I feel comfortable they’re going to give me the opportunity,” Posluszny said.

Right now there isn’t too much competition at linebacker for Posluszny, but there may be more as the Jags overhaul the roster.  Posluszny will come each day and get ready to fight and win his job.
