To help you set your final lineup this weekend, here are my Week 12 fantasy football players to start and sit:
Guys to Start:
QB Andrew Luck, IND (vs. BUF) – Buffalo has allowed 19 passing touchdowns this season, so expect the rookie quarterback to have a monster game at home this weekend.
RB Marcel Reece, OAK (@ CIN) – Starter Darren McFadden is out again this weekend, and since Reece had 193 all-purpose yards last Sunday, start him with confidence this weekend.
WR Demaryius Thomas, DEN (@ KC) – Thomas has had three games with over 130 receiving yards this season, and he will have another huge game this weekend against a hated division foe.
TE Jermaine Gresham, CIN (vs. OAK) – Gresham has gone over 65 receiving yards in three of his last five games and has a great matchup this weekend against a horrid Raiders defense.
Guys to Sit:
QB Josh Freeman, TB (vs. ATL) – Freeman has been one of the hottest quarterbacks over the last couple weeks, but he faces a very tough Falcons secondary this weekend. Keep Freeman on the bench for Week 12.
RB Michael Turner, ATL (@ TB) – Tampa Bay is allowing a meager 81.8 yards per game on the ground and is currently ranked number one in the NFL in run-defense. Expect the aging Turner to look his age this weekend.
WR Steve Smith, CAR (@ PHI) – Philadelphia’s secondary has looked very strong as of late, so expect them to be all over Smith this weekend.
TE Martellus Bennett, NYG (vs. GB) – After grabbing a touchdown in his first three games this year, Bennett has certainly cooled off. The tight end has only gone over 40 receiving yards once in his last nine contests.
