To help you set your final lineup this weekend, here are my week 8 fantasy football players to start and sit:

Guys to Start:

QB Tony Romo, DAL (vs. NYG) – Romo is being completely forgotten throughout the fantasy universe.  However, he has a great matchup this weekend against the lackluster Giants’ secondary that seemingly allows big passing performances each game.  This is one of the weeks that you want Romo in your lineup.

RB Willis McGahee, DEN (vs. NO) – The Saints can’t stop anyone defensively, so expect McGahee to run wild this weekend.

WR Dwayne Bowe, KC (vs. OAK) – Bowe is a great start this weekend against a less than stellar Raiders’ pass-defense.

TE Heath Miller, PIT (vs. WSH) – The Redskins have allowed big games through the air on a weekly basis, so Miller will get into the end-zone at least once this weekend.

Guys to Sit:

QB Matthew Stafford, DET (vs. SEA) – Stafford continues to disappoint each week and now faces the toughest secondary in the game.  Keep him on the bench until the Detroit offense scores more than 7 points.

RB Jonathan Stewart, CAR (@ CHI) – Head Coach Ron Rivera has stated that he is going to be giving the ball to Stewart a lot this weekend; it is just a shame that they are playing the Bears defense at home.

WR Hakeem Nicks, NYG (@ DAL) – Nicks will finally be healthy enough to play the entire game this weekend, but that doesn’t mean you should start him.  Wait to see if he looks reliable this week and start him in week nine.

TE Jacob Tamme, DEN (vs. NO) – Despite the shootout that will take place this weekend in New Orleans, Tamme will likely not make much of an impact.  Since his week one touchdown, Tamme has posted four games under 39 receiving yards.
