To help you win your fantasy football matchups this weekend, here are my top fantasy football players to start and sit for week 4:

Guys to Start:

QB Cam Newton, CAR (@ ATL) – Newton has received some very tough criticism over the last week, including from his hometown newspapers.  Newton is too strong of a player, and a person, to let that stuff get to him.  He will have a monster game in what is looking more and more like a shootout down in “Hot-lanta”.

RB Cedric Benson, GB (vs. NO) – The Saints were gashed for over 230 rushing yards last week by Kansas City Chiefs’ running back Jamaal Charles, so expect Benson to have his first 100-yard game as a cheesehead.

WR Eric Decker, DEN (vs. OAK) – Decker has been very quiet over the first three weeks of the year, but as Peyton Manning has countlessly pointed out; they are all still learning.  Decker will have a breakout game one of these weeks, so take a shot on him against one of the younger defenses in the game.

TE Scott Chandler, BUF (vs. NE) – Buffalo has been throwing the ball well this year, as Chandler is tied for second in the NFL with 3 touchdown grabs.

IDP: DeMarcus Ware, DAL (vs. CHI) – Ware will have a monster game against a pathetic Bears’ offensive line, so look for  the former Troy standout to easily get to Jay Cutler twice on Monday night.

Guys to Sit:

QB Sam Bradford, STL (vs. SEA) – The Seahawks embarrassed Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers last Monday night, so dealing with Sam Bradford should be easy for the Boom Squad.

RB Steven Ridley, NE (@ BUF) – Ridley has received fewer and fewer touches over the first three weeks, now factor in the Bills’ massive d-line, and it would be better to put Ridley on the pine this weekend.

WR Brandon Marshall, CHI (@ DAL) – Marshall will be blanketed by Dallas Cowboys’ shutdown corner, David Carr, all game, so do not expect much from anyone named Brandon Marshall this weekend.

TE Jermaine Gresham, CIN (@ JAC) – Gresham had several drops and penalties last weekend, so he will be somewhat in Marvin Lewis’ doghouse this Sunday.
