It’s kind of surprising that the loser of this year’s Super Bowl is favored to win next year’s. I really do think the biggest surprise is the Jaguars positioned dead last. I think we all know it wasn’t a great season for the offense, but Blaine Gabbert & Co. can only get better. This is a team that had the top-rushing running back in the league and a top 10 ranked defense.
It looks like the folks in Vegas have high hopes for Peyton Manning coming back to the Colts, at least that’s the only explanation for them being ranked 16th. How about the Eagles favored higher than the Giants? I do understand it is incredibly early for these odds to mean anything, but it’s still worth noting.
