Draftseason.com has asked bloggers covering every NFL team to submit picks for their NFL Mock Draft:  Blogger Edition, and it has come together pretty well.  Here is the whole mock.  There were some interesting picks, with some bloggers seemingly choosing players they were in love with rather than picking players their team would be inclined to pick.  The biggest of these may be Cordarrelle Peterson’s rise to number eight overall.

In this mock, the Jaguars pick Barkevious Mingo of Louisiana State University at number two overall.  The need for a pass rush is too big too ignore and quarterback Geno Smith falls to number seven overall as a result.  Mingo should be effective in the more hybrid defense that Bob Babich and head coach Gus Bradley are bringing to Jacksonville.

Other moves of note include Central Michigan left tackle Eric Fisher rising all the way up to number five overall with the Lions.  Fansided’s Side Lion Report editor, Zac Snyder, made the pick and I must admit that his analysis that Riley Reiff and Fisher will be protecting the quarterback for the next decade is tough to disagree with.

Another interesting pick is the Giants taking Arthur Brown at number 19.  Draft Season did the pick themselves and it is a bold prediction.  There is always someone who rises and comes out of nowhere each year and if Draft Season is correct about Brown, then I will be quite impressed.  Brown does have the physical ability to play well but whether he is better than other linebackers who have been getting more attention remains to be seen.  In this case Draft Season does not like the way Te’o looks, so goes with Brown.
