52. Undisputed No 1. Quarterback in the AFC South. Trevor Lawrence. 1. . . . player

Now without any surprise or further ado, we get to our best quarterback in the AFC South. He was the Prince that was promised and is now the reigning King of the AFC South. The top quarterback in the division and the "Sunshine" in the Sunshine State is the Jacksonville Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence

Lawrence made all the development and rookie growing pains disappear in his second year. He hit full stride in the second half of the season and elevated himself to one of the top quarterbacks in the league.

With 4,113 passing yards, 25 TDs, 8 INTs, 95.2 ratings, 291 rushing yards, and five rushing TDs in 2022, he left no questions of who the best is. We really get excited about what he did in the last nine games of the season. Watch him fearlessly face pressure and thread the needle on this pass, pure Sunshine. (Yes, that's a Remember the Titan's reference)

At 2-6 On the season, Lawrence strapped the Jaguars to his back and put on an MVP level second half of the season, carrying them to the playoffs. He improved his completion rate from 63 percent to 70 percent, and the win, yards, and touchdowns followed.

The Jags are adding Calvin Ridley and Tank Bigsby to Lawrence's arsenal of weapons this next season, and all expectations are that he will have a breakthrough season, becoming one of the AFCs elite quarterbacks. Trevor Lawrence is the King of the AFC South, and speaking for the entire Duvall nation, forever may he reign.
