Division games are never easy, so even though the Jacksonville Jaguars are favorites heading into their Week 3 bout against the Houston Texans, it can't be considered a guaranteed win. Just last week, it looked like the Jags stacked up favorably against the Kansas City Chiefs at home but ended up losing. It's true that the Texans aren't nearly as good as the defending Super Bowl champions but that doesn't mean Jacksonville can take it easy on them.
That said, the Jaguars have several things going for them in Week 3. The Texans offensive line doesn't look great and cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. has already been ruled out for the game. However, Houston, led by a promising C.J. Stroud and defensive end Will Anderson Jr. will give their all in Sunday. With that in mind, here are four questions Jaguars fans are asking heading into the game, chosen from the Black and Teal's Facebook page:
No. 4 question Jaguars fans are asking: Will Jacksonville have a more balanced offensive plan?
Do you think our offensive game plan will be more balanced this week against the Texans or are we going to keep with the heavy air attack? Via Thomas Vanderpol
The Jaguars tried to establish the run early in Week 2 but it didn't work, so they drifted away from it and leaned on Trevor Lawrence. In the opener, they had more success but the offensive line couldn't consistently open lanes. The few big gains they got were due to Travis Etienne's big play capability.
In the end, Jacksonville totaled 18 rushing attempts versus the Chiefs. The game before, they had 35. Given that the Texans' defensive front isn't nearly as good as the Chiefs, it's reasonable to think the Jags will put an emphasis on running the ball early in the game and have success.
No. 3 question Jaguars fans are asking heading into Week 3: Tank Bigsby usage
After all the hype in the preseason, why isn't Tank Bigsby being featured more in the offense? And do you see his role increasing against the Texans and the rest of the season? Via Christian Case
The Jaguars raised eyebrows when they drafted Tank Bigsby earlier this year. After all, they had just re-signed JaMycal Hasty and inked D'Ernest Johnson. Bigsby proceeded to have a productive training camp and the decision looked much better. By the end of the preseason, he had solidified his spot as RB2 behind Travis Etienne. But then, the opener came and things didn't go the way the rookie or the team probably expected.
Bigsby made two mistakes that led to turnovers. First, he failed to secure a throw that ended in the hands of cornerback Tony Brown and later dropped a live ball that was promptly scooped by defensive tackle DeForest Buckner, who wasted no time taking it to the end zone for a touchdown.
But in spite of Bigsby's rookie mistakes, the coaching staff plugged him back in the game and had him carry the ball in back-to-back plays. He scored in the second one. Following the game, head coach Doug Pederson defended the running back, noting that sometimes learning happens through failure.
However, Bigsby didn't touch the ball a single time against the Kansas City Chiefs. That said, he got 19 offensive snaps, so clearly, he wasn't benched. Instead, his lack of carries was the result of the team's inability to get the running game going.
Travis Etienne should be the Jaguars' leading rusher in Week 3 but expect Bigsby to also get a few carries if they can establish the run early on.
No. 2 question Jaguars fans are asking heading into Week 3: The offensive line play
Are the O-Line’s issues a result of talent or scheme? Via Scott Mathis
Offensive line coach Phil Rauscher tends to get the most out of his players and usually puts him in a position to succeed. So unless he makes them do something like the Whirly Bird, it will be hard to solely pin the blame on him for his unit's recent woes.

Also, the Jaguars won't go against defensive tackle Chris Jones every week, so there's a reason to believe they'll fare much better moving forward. That said, there are a few questions regarding the offensive line the Jaguars must answer soon. Right guard Brandon Scherff wasn't bad last year but he wasn't great either. The fact that he played through an ankle injury makes it hard to assess him. He didn't practice Wednesday for personal reasons but he's no longer listed on the Injury Report. He'll be one player to keep an eye on in Week 3.
Ben Bartch did well in his first game back from injury but struggled against the Chiefs. Again, the Kansas City defensive front proved to be too much for the Jaguars, so it will be interesting to see if he can bounce back. The same is true for rookie right tackle Anton Harrison, who's coming off back-to-back subpar performances.
Harrison called going against Jones his welcome to the NFL moment. Keep in mind that he's a rookie, so he should have his fair share of ups and downs through the season. For him, there's nowhere to go but up.
No. 1 question Jaguars fans are asking heading into Week 3: Josh Allen's impact
Do you think Josh Allen will have a similar performance as he did on week 1 and effect on C.J. Stroud? Via Mike Nah
Outside linebacker Josh Allen had a monster game against the Colts, registering three sacks, five pressures, and 10 total pressures. It was going to be hard for him to enjoy the same kind of success against the Kansas City Chiefs but still had a productive outing, registering a sack and three pressures. He also had a huge role in the play where safety Andre Cisco intercepted Patrick Mahomes.

The issue heading into Week 3 is that he suffered a shoulder injury against the Chiefs and is currently day-to-day. The good news is that he's listed as limited on the Injury Report. Of course, it would be ideal if he were a full-go but that's still better than being deemed not healthy enough to practice.
Unless Allen's shoulder injury worsens, he should suit up against the Texans. The question is how big of an impact he'll have. The good news is that he'll line up against left tackle Laremy Tunsil, who's also dealing with an injury of his own.
Tunsil sat out last week's game but has returned to practice. Just like Allen, he got the limited designation.

Whether Tunsil is 100 percent or not, expect Allen to suit up Sunday and post a similar statline to last week's.
