Voting for the 2023 NFL Pro Bowl Games has already started. While the Jacksonville Jaguars hold a 3-7 record following their 27-17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, some of their individual performances have stood out.
It’s hard to envision Trevor Lawrence getting a Pro Bowl nod knowing how well fellow quarterbacks Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Patrick Mahomes — all of whom play in the AFC — have fared this season. Having said that, there are other Jaguars that might have a good shot at earning a selection in 2022.
With that in mind, here are five Jaguars who have a shot at making the Pro Bowl this season.
No. 5 Jaguars player who can make the Pro Bowl: Jawaan Taylor, RT

Jawaan Taylor has been a mainstay of the Jaguars’ offensive line since 2019, making 59 consecutive starts at right tackle. This is more impressive when you consider that he had to fend off sophomore Walker Little in training camp to keep his job.
Looking back, it’s easy to see the coaching staff went with Taylor. The former Florida Gator hadn’t been particularly consistent in previous seasons but he’s turned the corner and is having a career year.
Taylor has allowed just four sacks and nine total pressures this season and is set to post career-best in both statistics. Moreover, he’s only been flagged four times. His 57.0 Pro Football Focus grade ranks 70th in the league but most of the best offensive tackles in the league reside in the NFC, so there’s a chance Taylor could get the nod along with Laremy Tunsil (Houston Texans) and Terron Armstead (Miami Dolphins).

No. 4 Jaguars player who can make the Pro Bowl: Andre Cisco, S
The Jaguars are getting plenty of production from their 2021 draft class but you could make the case that safety Andre Cisco isn’t getting as much attention as his peers because he was selected in the third round.
The former Syracuse Orangeman tumble down draft boards because he dealt with a series of injuries in college but he’s managed to remain healthy and hasn’t missed a single game in his NFL career. After spending most of his rookie season on the bench, he’s become a key cog in the Jags’ secondary, logging 52 total tackles, seven passes defensed and three interceptions, one of them against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 10.
Cisco is currently displaying the ballhawk skills that made him such a difference-maker in college and if he can register a few more picks, Pro Bowl voters will have a hard time snubbing him.
No. 3 Jaguars player who can make the Pro Bowl: Tyson Campbell, CB
Andre Cisco isn’t the only Jaguars’ defender that could earn a Pro Bowl berth in 2022. The NFL is experiencing a wave of young cornerbacks and Jacksonville has a promising one in Tyson Campbell, who has progressively gotten better over the last two years.
A second-round pick in last year’s draft, Campbell struggled early in the 2021 campaign but has progressively gotten better. He had a team-high two interceptions last season and has already registered as many this season.
Having said that, Campbell might be a long shot to make the Pro Bowl when you take into account how many talented cornerbacks there are in the AFC, including but not limited to fellow sophomore Patrick Surtain Jr., rookie sensation Sauce Gardner, and veteran Stephan Gilmore.

No. 2 Jaguars player who can make the Pro Bowl: Travis Etienne, RB
A popular adage says something along the lines of good things can come out of bad ones and although the decision to trade running back James Robinson to the New York Jets wasn’t generally well-received, it paved the way for sophomore Travis Etienne to shine.
A first-round pick in the 2021 draft, Etienne missed his rookie campaign with a Lisfranc injury and hardly any playing time early this season. However, his workload steadily increased and the coaching staff couldn’t justify keeping him on the bench, which played a role in the decision to move on from Robinson.
Etienne has been one of the most productive running backs in the NFL since Week 5, toting the rock 131 times for 725 yards with four touchdowns and an average of 5.5 yards per carry. While the former Clemson Tiger will need to keep playing at a high level to make the Pro Bowl, he’s got a realistic shot.
No. 4 Jaguars player who can make the Pro Bowl: Christian Kirk, WR
The Jaguars’ losing record shouldn’t overshadow the impact wide receiver Christian Kirk has had since signing a four-year deal worth $72 million this offseason. The former Texas A&M Auggie had an impact right off the bat, hauling in the receptions for 267 yards with three touchdowns.
Although Kirk was somewhat quiet for a stretch this season, he quickly picked up the pace and has caught 27 receptions for 317 yards with three touchdowns over the last four weeks. The Arizona native is proving skeptics wrong and may be the first Jaguars wide receiver to make the Pro Bowl since DJ Chark Jr. last did in 2019.
