No. 2 most difficult game in Jaguars schedule: Week 10 at Chiefs.

This game will signal the second time Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson will face off against his mentor, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid. Back in 2017, the two played against each other with Reid coming out of the game with the win. In the end, Pederson got the last laugh because he went on to win Super Bowl 52 last year but he would surely like to beat Reid, so he can take the accomplishment off his bucket list.

Regardless of who is at the helm, this is going to be a tough game for the Jags. First of all, it will be held at Arrowhead Stadium, where the Chiefs do enjoy home-field advantage. But that isn’t the only reason Jacksonville will have a hard time keeping up with Kansas City.

Patrick Mahomes had a relatively down season in 2021 but still led his team to the playoffs. It’s just that the bar was set so high that when he doesn’t clear it, it gets plenty of attention but even if he isn’t at his best, he’s still one of the best in the business.

Even without Tyreek Hill who was traded to the Miami Dolphins, the Chiefs are still a dangerous team. In fact, they might not miss a beat due to the arrival of Marquez Valdes-Scantling in free agency and Skyy Moore in this year’s selection meeting. Similarly, Kansas City’s defense got progressively stouter as the 2021 season passed and even without Tyraan Mathieu they shouldn’t be taken lightly.
