Tyler Linderbaum is a can’t miss prospect for the Jaguars.

The Jaguars have had Brandon Linder since 2014, but it may be time to move on. It’s not a knock on his talent or abilities; rather, injuries have caught up with the five-time team captain. In fact, he’s missed 15 games over the last two seasons, and moving on from him would clear the way for Linderbaum while simultaneously saving $10 million in cap space.

With Linderbaum, Jacksonville would be getting the most athletic offensive lineman in this upcoming rookie class. Linderbaum flies all over the field while dominating incoming defenders with his hands. In fact, Linderbaum comes from a wrestling background, no doubt a reason he’s so effective in shedding linemen with his hands and his sheer athletic ability.

Pro Football Focus is enraptured with Linderbaum’s game and how he will transition over to the NFL. They graded him 95.4 overall, with a solid 79.8 pass-blocking grade and an astonishing 96.6 grade in the run blocking department.

While not the biggest man on the field at six-foot-three and 290 pounds, Linderbaum makes up for it in quickness and excellent body control, or technique, if you will. As mentioned before, his hands are impressive, and his ability to move up and down the line and run ahead, clearing run lanes, is noteworthy.
