2. The Jaguars’ secondary will intercept Mac Jone twice in Week 17.

It took a while but Andre Cisco finally made his first start of the season in Week 16. The rookie safety showed flashes of the traits that made him a difference-maker for Syracuse and had everybody wondering why he hadn’t seen the football field sooner. If he keeps improving, he and cornerback Tyson Campbell will become a mainstay of Jacksonville’s secondary for years to come.

Patriots quarterback Mac Jones has done a job of minimizing mistakes in his rookie campaign, throwing a manageable 12 interceptions. However, Campbell and Cisco will put their ballhawk skills on full display Sunday and will intercept him twice.

3. Jaguars DT Taven Bryan will once again play like he did in Week 9.

The next two games may be defensive tackle Taven Bryan’s last in Black and Teal uniform. He’s set to become a free agent next offseason and there are no indications he’s part of the team’s plans beyond 2021. The Florida product has somewhat disappeared after a dominant performance in Week 9 when he registered two sacks and four total pressures.

Bryan will finish the season strong and will record one sack and a forced fumble, his first since 2019. He needs to show teams that may be potentially interested in his services that he can make plays, and he will precisely do that against the Patriots.
