If the Los Angeles Rams are the best team the Jaguars will face off against in 2021, why aren’t they on this list? Precisely because this isn’t about Jacksonville’s most difficult games this upcoming season but the ones you must watch.

This is going to be an important game for the Jaguars for several reasons, but the main one is that they hired Darrell Bevell as their offensive coordinator, which is the same job he had in Seattle from 2013 to 2017. Also, Jacksonville signed former Seahawks cornerback Shaquill Griffin this offseason, so even though the Jags aren’t turning into the south version of the Hawks, they are certainly borrowing some of the things that made them a good team.

Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer said he wanted Bevell as his offensive coordinator because of his work with Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. If Bevell can do the same for Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville will be set at the position for a long time. Also, it would be great to see Bevell beat his old team and showed them that they made a mistake when they moved on from him.

Another thing to keep an eye on is how these new Jaguars will play at a stadium that isn’t known for being friendly to opposing teams. Lumen Field is one of the loudest venues in the NFL, which will complicate things for Jacksonville. Although it would have been nice to see the Jags face off against the Hawks in prime time, this will be must-watch tv.
